CLIENT TESTIMONIALS
DYLAN TAYLOR: A pick-up truck turned left as I was attempting to go straight through an intersection with a green traffic light. Unfortunately, although not speeding or otherwise riding recklessly, I did happen to be on my back wheel, and the Officer, based on the interview with the pick-up driver (while I was on the way to the hospital) concluded that it was my fault. The pick-up driver's adjuster, and the first lawyer I found, did not take me seriously. Hank advised that the Traffic Code still prohibits failing to yield while turning left, and filed suit. The pick-up driver's insurance company paid policy limits, and Hank helped me negotiate the health insurance portion down to where I made a significant recovery.
CHARLES FLATT: I was trying to go through a traffic light, at the speed limit, with a green light, when a lady in a sport utility turned left in front of me so suddenly that I could not avoid running into her. I woke up the next day in the hospital. In the meanwhile, the lady had told the investigating Officer that the traffic lights were flashing in all directions, and that I had run a flashing red light. The lady's insurance company sued me for the cost of fixing her Durango. Hank took my file, defending the claims against me, brought a counter suit for my injuries as well as my property damage. He brought in a Fort Worth Traffic Light Supervisor as an Expert to establish that the flashing lights story was bogus. We got the lady's policy limits for the personal injury portion, but had to go to trial on the property damage. Hank prevailed and I got the cost of my motorcycle and helmet reimbursed, and the lady's claims against me were denied.
